Katia Washington | Denzel Washington’s Daughter

Katia Washington, the younger, less well-known daughter of well-known actor Denzel Washington, has made a name for herself in the same industry. Katia, unlike her father, is enamored with behind-the-scenes work. She works as an assistant producer, editorial assistant, and on many aspects of filmmaking and has appeared in films such as The Equalizer, Fences, and Django Unchained.

On November 27, 1987, Katia was born in Los Angeles, California, to Denzel and Pauletta Washington. She is the second oldest of four children, with two brothers, John David and Malcolm, and a sister, Olivia; Malcolm and Olivia are twins. Her siblings are engaged in the film and entertainment industries and have proven their acting ability to the world, with John winning numerous honors and currently starring in Ballers. Katia attended various and most prominent private universities in Los Angeles before enrolling in Yale School, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in arts in 2010.
