Arne Naess, Jr. & Diana Ross

The late Arne Naess Jr. was a well-established businessman who had huge holdings in over 24 companies. His net worth was already around $100 million in the eighties. However, no amount of money or investments can fill the void of loving someone. Luckily, Arne met Diana Ross when he went to the Bahamas in May 1985. They immediately hit it off and not long after, they were head over heels for each other.

After dating for a couple of months, these lovebirds wanted to tie the knot right away. They couldn’t wait to make it happen, so they decided to have a simple civil wedding ceremony at New York in October. Given their wealthy standing, they were bound to celebrate their love again. This time, it was held in a gorgeous church at Romainmotier, Switzerland. They even share two kids together, Ross and Evan. It is unfortunate how their union ended in 1999. 6 years of marriage and they just figured it was time to break it off. Now, their kids are all grown up now. In fact, Diana officiated her son Ross’ marriage in Santa Barbara.
