Debbie Reynolds & Eddie Fisher

Regarded as one of the most infamous relationships in Hollywood, the relationship between Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher became a sensation at one point in time. Reynolds and Fisher first met during the early 1950 and dated afterward, eventually tying the knot in 1955. Together, they have two children, namely Carrie and Todd. However, their relationship came to an end in 1959 when Reynolds found out about an affair Fisher had with Elizabeth Taylor. At the time, Taylor lost her then-husband, Mike Todd, to a plane crash. When news of this emerged, it became a sensation, as the three figures were heavyweights in the Hollywood industry, and both Reynolds and Taylor were close friends. Shortly after splitting up, Fisher married Taylor in 1959.

Despite the affair, Reynolds was not bitter about Taylor marrying Fisher. They managed to reconcile in 1966 and remained close friends. As a testament to their friendship, when Taylor passed away in 2011, she passed on some of her investments via jewelry to Reynolds. As for Fisher, he became romantically involved three more times after Taylor.
