The Mr. & Mrs. Smith star, Angelina Jolie, tied the knot with fellow actor Billy Bob Thornton in 2000. They met on the set of Pushing Tin, and it was just love at first sight. Their whirlwind romance ended with the two eloping. The biggest surprise was to Laura Dern, who was engaged to Thornton at the time. The two seemed to be in love with one another and are constantly spotted together. Though they are far from the regular celebrity couple, their quirks bonded the couple together.

However, their relationship ended just two years into their marriage and a year after Jolie adopted her first child. The good news, however, was that the two remained friends afterward.
